The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union successfully conducted its 31st Regular Meeting on May 12, gathering Rotarians and guests for an evening centered on leadership, fellowship, and meaningful community dialogue. The meeting served as another opportunity for members to strengthen Rotary camaraderie while gaining valuable insights from a distinguished public servant and fellow Rotarian leader.
Highlighting the event was the presence of Hon. Ma. Clarissa “Bong” Lee, Municipal Mayor of Bauang and President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Metro San Fernando La Union for Rotary Year 2026–2027, who graced the gathering as guest speaker. Mayor Lee shared inspiring reflections on public service, responsive leadership, and the importance of collaborative governance in addressing the needs of local communities.
In her message, Mayor Lee emphasized that genuine leadership is rooted in compassion, integrity, and a sincere commitment to serve others. She underscored the significant role civic organizations such as Rotary play in complementing government initiatives through humanitarian programs, educational advocacies, and sustainable community projects.
