District Governor's Visit a Huge Success

The Rotary Club of Tagum North proudly hosted the District Governor’s Visit on August 9, 2025, at Napoleon Hall. The event was a resounding success, attended by Rotarians, their spouses, and Rotaractors, all united in fellowship and service.
District Governor Angel "Jong"J. Fernandez , Jr highlighted the importance of creating Satellite Clubs to expand Rotary’s reach and impact. Past District Governor Lilu I. Alino emphasized the need to strengthen the club’s public image, while PDG Philip N. Tan encouraged members and future leaders to initiate projects that are meaningful and memorable.
Past President Maria Vida S. Konst inspired members to focus on engagement and membership retention, recognizing these as keys to a thriving club. Meanwhile, Past Assistant Governor Vincent Eduard L. Ang spoke about the vital role of The Rotary Foundation in supporting Rotary’s mission.
District Secretary Mary Christine Chua acknowledged the Rotary Club of Tagum North for its timely payment of RI and District dues, as well as the prompt submission of club attendance records and service project reports.
The event reinforced the club’s commitment to Rotary’s ideals and strengthened the bond between district leaders and club members as they continue to serve above self.
