BAG-KONG PAG-ASA

The Rotary Club of Mandaluyong visited the Kuya Center for Street Children on 20 October 2025 to help execute the "Bag-kong Pag-Asa" service project. Pres. Jethro Bañez led the team, joined by Service Project Director PP Apollo Tan, PP Bill Daland, PP Ernie Lim, and RCM spouses Maan Lam, Aileen Tan, and Jojo Bañez.

"Bag-kong Pag-Asa" turns used tarpaulins into reusable bags, promoting environmental responsibility and smart reuse. The activity blends creativity with sustainability in community

service. Reusable bags reduce waste, raise awareness, and support daily needs at the center. Support from Champion Fine Tooling Corporation enabled resources and smooth coordination.

The partnership with Kuya Center ensured quality and steady follow through. Guided by Service Above Self, the team delivered a simple, effective solution for a cleaner, safer community.
