The 10-Hour Climate Action Convergence was successfully held, bringing together an extraordinary assembly of leaders, professionals, and advocates united by a shared mission to address the pressing challenges of climate change.
This landmark initiative convened a diverse group of stakeholders, including DGN Mache Torres, Bamboo King Butch Madarang, Rommel Cruz of the Philippine Rotary Magazine, local government mayors, UCP Raoul Creencia, UCP Christina Allada, UCP Sheryll Ann Mesina, and Climate Change Commissioner Albert Dela Cruz, as well as esteemed professors, scientists, IT professionals, and dedicated climate advocates from across the country.
Throughout the ten-hour program, discussions centered on resilience-building, environmental sustainability, and collaborative approaches to climate adaptation and mitigation. The exchange of ideas and experiences underscored the importance of multi-sectoral cooperation in shaping effective and inclusive climate solutions.
More than a gathering, the convergence marked the beginning of a collective movement for Mother Earth, affirming Rotary’s role in fostering partnerships that bridge policy, science, and community action.
As the convergence concluded, participants carried with them not only insights and strategies but also a renewed commitment to translate dialogue into concrete action—ensuring that the call for climate resilience resonates across communities and future generations.
