The Rotary Club of Cebu South, led by its President Rheneir P. Mora, recently conducted an official visit to its sister club, the Rotary Club of Yotsukaido in Japan. The visit reaffirmed decades of friendship between the two clubs and their shared commitment to Rotary’s guiding principle of Service Above Self.
A key highlight of the visit was the reaffirmation by the Rotary Club of Yotsukaido, under the leadership of President Masaharu Sato, of its continued support for the Day Care Center in Minglanilla, Cebu. This joint project, which has been sustained for more than 25 years, continues to provide early childhood education and care to young learners in the community.
Through ongoing assistance in learning materials, facility maintenance, and operational support, the partnership ensures that children in Minglanilla have access to a nurturing and supportive learning environment. The long-standing collaboration stands as a testament to the enduring impact of international Rotary partnerships.
During the visit, both clubs also explored new opportunities to expand collaborative service initiatives and further strengthen international understanding. The exchange highlighted the strength of Rotary’s global network, demonstrating how cooperation across borders can create lasting and meaningful change in communities
