One of the greatest strengths of Rotary is the willingness of its members to use their professional knowledge and expertise to uplift communities. Through our signature project, A.L.A.G.A., our members transformed their professions into meaningful acts of service for the families of Isla Solomon, Bauang.

Past President Marilyn Hidalgo, an attorney, empowered children by conducting an engaging session on Children's Rights, helping them understand that every child deserves protection, respect, and opportunities to thrive. More than teaching the law, she inspired confidence and awareness among the young beneficiaries.

Meanwhile, President-Elect Dr. Christian Nebres and Director Dr. Gherome De Leon shared their medical expertise by teaching and demonstrating proper handwashing and toothbrushing techniques, promoting lifelong healthy habits. They also provided fluoride application to help prevent tooth decay and extended free dental extraction services to children and adults who had long been in need of treatment.

These acts of service remind us that Rotary is not only about giving resources, it is about sharing our talents, professions, and hearts. When Rotarians dedicate their expertise to those who need it most, they create lasting impact, empower communities, and give hope through the true meaning of Service Above Self.
