“Sa Oras ng Peligro, Dapat Alisto”

The Rotary Club of Greater Marikina Valley conducted a Fire Prevention Seminar entitled, "Sa Oras ng Peligro, Maging Alisto" in the morning of November 18, 2025 at Panganiban Street, Barangay Concepcion Dos, Marikina City, together with Fire Officer 2 Joan Tayawan of the Marikina Fire Station as the resource speaker, along with the fire fighters from the Concepcion Fire Station of the Bureau of Fire Protection.

Much appreciation goes to SFO1 Lenalyn Boloseño, FO1 James Rañen, FO1 Jasper Paghunasan, and the rest of the team who shared their ideas and educated the attendees with a better understanding of and appreciation for fire Prevention techniques.

There was also a live demonstration on how to put out a fire using the fire extinguisher at home.

This project was likewise joined by our Rotaract Club of Greater Marikina Valley and Interact Club of Squirettes of Mary Immaculate.

We would like to thank Rtn. Cong. Miro Quimbo for sponsoring our snacks for the day and for all the support of our club members. Mabuhay ang RC Greater Marikina Valley!
