Rotary Club of Greater Floridablanca and AY Foundation Donate 20 Hospital Beds to Romana Pangan District Hospital

On August 13, 2025, the Rotary Club of Greater Floridablanca, in partnership with the AY Foundation, successfully turned over 20 brand-new hospital beds to Romana Pangan District Hospital in San Jose, Floridablanca. The turnover ceremony was attended by Mayor Michael Galang, Past President Tony Yuzon, AY Foundation Project Officer Ralph Arjy Diestro, Club President Diana Morales, and Hospital Chief Dr. Rachell Gutierrez. This meaningful project was initiated to provide patients with safer, more comfortable, and dignified conditions during their recovery and treatment.

The donation became possible through the generosity of the AY Foundation and the strong support of the local government of Floridablanca under the leadership of Mayor Michael Galang. The Rotary Club also expressed its gratitude to Dr. Rachell Gutierrez, Administrator Mercy Lugtu, and former Chief Nurse Teresita Almario for sharing valuable information and insights that highlighted the hospital’s urgent need for additional beds and strengthened the project's purpose.

This initiative reflects the spirit of bayanihan and Rotary’s commitment to improving healthcare services in the community. By providing essential medical equipment, the project helps enhance patient care and supports the hospital’s mission of delivering quality healthcare to the people of Floridablanca. Truly, better beds lead to better care and a better community.
