Guided by Rotary’s enduring commitment to Service Above Self, the Rotary Club of Cebu South reached out to families affected by Typhoon Tino through a relief operation held on November 30, 2025, in Barangay Biasong, Talisay City.
In the wake of the disaster, Rotarians worked hand in hand with the community, providing essential relief goods, water containers, camping stoves, and vitamins to support families as they began the journey toward recovery. Recognizing the importance of restoring hope—especially among the young—the Club also distributed Bundles of Joy to children, offering comfort and reassurance during a difficult time.
This initiative was made possible through the spirit of collaboration that defines Rotary. The Rotary Club of Masbate generously extended its support through donations that broadened the reach of the mission, while Mora Sanchez Meñoza and Associates helped bring smiles and encouragement to children through their contributions. Together, these partnerships reflect the power of collective action in creating meaningful change.
More than a relief activity, the initiative reaffirmed Rotary’s promise to stand with communities in times of need—listening, responding, and walking alongside them with compassion. Through service grounded in fellowship and shared purpose, the Rotary Club of Cebu South continues to help restore not only livelihoods, but also hope and dignity.
