On May 8, 2025, the Rotary Club of Cebu Gloria Maris marked a significant milestone, its 33rd Founding Anniversary at The Ching Palace on Salinas Drive, Cebu City. This joyous occasion gathered an inspiring assembly of charter members, past presidents, current officers, esteemed guests, and supportive families to celebrate over three decades of dedicated service and fellowship.
The celebration was a vivid reflection of the club’s unwavering commitment to “Service Above Self,” inspiring all attendees to continue creating hope and positive change in their community.
From its inception, the Rotary Club of Cebu Gloria Maris has been a beacon of hope and a catalyst for community transformation. Also in attendance were Past District Governor Lilu Aliño, Club President Myra Urbiztondo with her husband and Rotarian Alden Urbiztondo, Assistant Governor Christine Tan Ashby, incoming District Rotaract Chair Mary Catherine Englis, Director of Membership Fraulien Atis, Director of Public Image Dorothy Borces, and a distinguished group of past presidents including Marietta Briones, Christine Racaza, Bessie Villamor, Tita Caballes, Babyee Raffiñan, and Herica Climaco.
