Leadership Seminar in Baguio City On April 5–6, 2025, the Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands participated in the President Elect and Secretary Elect Leadership Seminar (PESELS 2025), held at 456 Hotel in Baguio City. Representing the club were Assistant Governor Anna Liza Chan, President-Elect Ponciano “Jun” Valdez, Jr, and Incoming Secretary Mary Libeney “NayDarna” Sito under the leadership of Governor Dan Torres. The seminar brought together all incoming presidents and secretaries from Rotary International District 3790, offering a valuable platform to prepare for the responsibilities of the upcoming Rotary year.
Throughout the two-day seminar, participants engaged in comprehensive workshops, leadership sessions, and collaborative activities centered on effective club management, community service initiatives, and strategic planning.
This year’s theme, “Unite for Good,” underscored the importance of unity and collective purpose as clubs across the district gear up for another impactful year of service. Guided by Rotary’s enduring motto, “Service Above Self,” the Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands reaffirmed its commitment to fostering leadership, strengthening community impact, and upholding the values that define Rotary.
Their active participation in PESELS 2025 reflects a continued dedication to empowering leaders and serving with compassion, integrity, and excellence.
