RC San Fernando La Union recognized at Polio Plus Banquet

The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) was recognized for its significant contribution to the Polio Plus campaign during the Polio Plus Banquet held on March 15, 2025, at CSI Stadia, Dagupan City.

The event honored clubs and individuals who have made notable donations toward the global eradication of polio.

President Gabby, District Governor Nominee (DGN) Roni, Past President (PP) Cres, PP Aldy, PP Peter, PP JB, PP Khen, and PP Sherwin were recognized as members of the Polio Plus Society, having pledged to donate $100.00 annually until polio is eradicated worldwide.

RCSFLU also received a citation for being one of the 11 clubs in the district that donated $1,500.00 as of March 10, 2025. Additionally, the club was acknowledged as one of the 11 clubs that achieved the "End Polio Countdown to History" status for Rotary Year 2023-2024 by contributing more than $1,500.00 to Polio Plus.

The recognition highlights RCSFLU’s ongoing commitment to Rotary’s mission of ending polio and improving global health.
