RC San Fernando La Union Joins Rang-ay Bank 70th Anniversary Celebration

The Rotary Club of San Fernando, La Union (RCSFLU) participated in the 70th Founding Anniversary of Rang-ay Bank at Awesome Hotel, San Juan, La Union, reinforcing its commitment to Rotary values of fellowship, service, leadership, and integrity. The event recognized the bank’s decades of service to the local economy and the community.

RCSFLU’s involvement highlighted the importance of fellowship, as members engaged with community leaders and forged stronger partnerships with local institutions. The presence of Past President Ives Nisce, acknowledged as one of the pillars of Rang-ay Bank, emphasized the shared commitment of Rotary and local leaders toward sustainable development.

Through active participation, RCSFLU demonstrated service above self, showing that the club not only organizes its own initiatives but also supports institutions that contribute to the well-being of the community. The collaboration exemplified how Rotarians can lead by example and amplify impact through partnerships.

One of the highlights of the event was Rang-ay Bank’s donation of ₱350,000.00 to the PDG Rudy Nisce Foundation, Inc., made in celebration of its 70th Anniversary. The foundation was established in honor of Past District Governor Rudy Nisce, the first District Governor to come from RCSFLU, and continues to support programs aligned with Rotary’s mission of service and community development.
