RC San Fernando La Union Hosts District 3790 Leadership Seminar for Assistant and Deputy Governors

The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) proudly served as the host club for the Assistant Governors and Deputy Assistant Governors Learning Seminar of Rotary International District 3790, held on March 14 in San Juan, La Union.
The seminar gathered district leaders and emerging Rotary officers in preparation for the upcoming Rotary year, providing an avenue for learning, leadership development, and alignment of district goals. The activity was held under the leadership of PP Ronald Dy, District Governor-Elect of District 3790.
Participants engaged in discussions on leadership responsibilities, club support strategies, and effective service project management. The seminar emphasized the critical role of Assistant Governors and Deputy Assistant Governors in guiding clubs, strengthening membership engagement, and ensuring the success of Rotary programs across the district.
Distinguished speakers shared their expertise and experience with the participants, including PP Rudy Balmater, Past District Governor and Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator for Zone 1B Region 10. Also joining the roster of speakers were seasoned Rotary leaders PP Boc Bonifacio and PP Lorna Regala, who provided valuable insights on communication and Rotary Club Central. From the host club, RCSFLU’s very own Past Presidents Don Ting and Tim Warden also served as speakers during the seminar, sharing their experiences and best practices in Rotary leadership and the “Solving of the People Puzzle.”
