RC San Fernando La Union donates Goods to Philippine Navy for Calayan Island Relief Efforts

The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU), in partnership with the Philippine Navy and Aksyon Radyo, conducts Operation Tulong on March 19, 2025, to provide relief goods for residents of Calayan Island, Philippines.

Rotarians trooped at the Philippine Navy station in Poro to hand over donations, which will be transported to the island as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts. The initiative aims to address the urgent needs of affected communities by supplying essential goods and some wheelchairs.

RCSFLU encourages members and community partners to participate in the relief effort by contributing donations or volunteering. The club continues to uphold its commitment to Service Above Self, ensuring aid reaches those in need.

This initiative reflects Rotary’s unwavering dedication to humanitarian service. By working together with the Philippine Navy ensures that help reaches those who need it the most. As relief efforts continue, Operation Tulong serves as a reminder that compassion and collective action can make a real difference.
