RC Metro San Fernando La Union: A Pin of Belonging, A Promise to Serve

𝐀 𝐏𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐆. 𝐀 𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒

𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓.

One of the most meaningful highlights of our First Regular Meeting was the 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 and the 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭—two symbolic moments that reminded us of what it truly means to be a Rotarian.

More than a badge, the Rotary pin represents a commitment to live by the ideals of 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘈𝘣𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘭𝘧. And more than a signature, the Membership Commitment represents a renewed promise to serve with 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 to create meaningful and lasting change.

Led by 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗲, the Membership Commitment gave every member an opportunity to reaffirm the promise they made when they chose to become part of the 𝙍𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙤 𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝙁𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙤 (𝙇𝙐).

Adding a special touch to the ceremony was 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗥𝘁𝗻. 𝗚𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗗𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻,

whose creativity transformed a simple commitment form into a beautifully designed 𝙩𝙧𝙞-𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙙

𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙡𝙚𝙩, making the experience more personal, memorable, and

meaningful for every member.

As each pin was placed and every signature was made, we were reminded that our commitment to Rotary is not simply something we wear or write on paper. It is something we carry in our hearts, demonstrate through our actions, and prove through the lives we touch.

May every pin remind us who we are, and every signature remind us why we serve.

Together, let us continue to uphold Rotary’s values, strengthen our commitment, and Create Lasting Impact in every community we serve.
