RC Metro Kalibo reaches out to LGU to establish a community water access point

On December 19, 2023, the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850), led by our dedicated President Ricky Molo, collaborated with the Local Government of Kalibo, specifically through the Office of the Vice-Mayor, to provide Jetmatic Pumps and bags of cement to 19 selected recipients. The plan is to establish a community water access point in each barangay so that households can share the resource.

The project was initiated to address Water Access Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and Disease Prevention, which are two of the seven areas of focus of Rotary International.

Also present were VP Nora and PP Markus Helber. The event was held at the LGU Kalibo Magsaysay Park, Kalibo, Aklan
