RC Makati signs a Brotherhood Agreemeent with RC Metro Kalibo

On July 4th, President Jess Fernandez of the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850) signed a Brotherhood Agreement with President Keith A. D. Harrison of the Rotary Club of Makati (D3830).


This agreement marks a significant milestone in the relationship between the two clubs, paving the way for future collaborative projects.

The signing was witnessed by Past President Megs Lunn and Director Derrick Anthony Tan.


For over five years, RC Makati has partnered with RC Metro Kalibo on various initiatives, including BATS (Books Across the Seas), the repair of the Tondog (Tangalan) Daycare Center, provision of Alternative Learning System (ALS) equipment at Numancia Integrated School, disaster response aid during typhoons, and the Clinic in the Cloud project in Malinao.



Simultaneously, the Rotary Club of Zamboanga West (D3850) finalized an identical Brotherhood Agreement, represented by PDG James Makasiar and SEC Chairman/PP Emil Benito Aquino, with RCM Director Neil John Makasiar (son of PDG James) also in attendance.


The Match Clubs Agreement and Havana Night, which preceded the Rotary Club of Makati’s 59th Induction, saw participation from clubs across Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, as well as from Singapore and Malaysia. President Keith Harrison was accompanied by his wife, Rachel.


The event featured a Karaoke singing competition with a prize of P50,000 for project funding. The Rotary Club of Bay (Laguna) emerged as the winner. The event was held at the RCM Foundation, Inc. Building in Makati City.
