The sun rose brightly over Cebu City on September 13, 2025, as the Montebello Garden Hotel welcomed Rotary leaders from across the Visayas region to the much-anticipated Vibrant Seminar Visayas. Among the spirited attendees was the Rotary Club of Cebu Gloria Maris (RCCGM), represented by key leaders eager to deepen their knowledge and sharpen their leadership skills.
From 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, the full-day seminar emerged as a melting pot of ideas, inspiration, and collaboration. RCCGM’s President Roxene Rosario, Secretary Dorothy Borces, AG Christine Tan Ashby, District Rotaract Chair Mary Catherine Englis, Director Bernadette Ponce, and Past District Governor Lilu Aliño joined fellow Rotarians in a dynamic environment focused on cultivating club vibrancy and multiplying the impact of Rotary’s mission.
The sessions delved into innovative strategies for strengthening clubs, fostering member engagement, and pioneering service projects with greater reach and sustainability. Expert speakers shared powerful insights on servant leadership, effective communication, and the art of building resilient teams. “Leadership grounded in compassion and innovation is the key to transforming communities sustainably,” highlighted one keynote speaker, setting the tone for the day’s learning.
Attendees exchanged best practices and personal experiences, forging bonds that transcended district lines. RCCGM members engaged actively, absorbing lessons and contributing their own unique perspectives shaped by local challenges and successes. The seminar’s pace perfectly balanced profound discussions with interactive workshops, allowing participants to reflect, brainstorm, and recharge.
RCCGM’s commitment to continuous growth was unmistakable — through their participation, they not only invested in their personal development but also fortified their collective ability to serve more effectively.
PDG Lilu Aliño noted, “Learning together empowers us to lead with purpose and expand our positive footprint in our communities.”
As the seminar concluded, the reinforced spirit among participants translated into renewed motivation, enhanced leadership capabilities, and a deeper understanding of how to keep Rotary clubs vibrant hubs of service and fellowship.
The Vibrant Seminar Visayas was more than just an event; it was a catalyst that rejuvenated the Rotary community’s drive to create meaningful, lasting change.
