RC Baguio Highlands Concludes a Remarkable Year Under President Eric Bernardez

The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands has successfully concluded another impactful Rotary year under the dynamic leadership of President Eric Bernardez.


The closing chapter of his presidency was marked by a year-end seminar held in La Union, where club members gathered to celebrate their accomplishments, reflect on their service, and gear up for the upcoming Rotary year. 



The club brought pride not only to Baguio but to the entire district as it received numerous accolades in recognition of its exemplary performance.


The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands was honored with the Service Project Citation Award and was named Top Club in Areas of Focus, excelling in Peace and Conflict Prevention, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Maternal and Child Health, Basic Education and Literacy, Economic and Community Development, and Environment. In addition, the club topped multiple categories including Service Projects, Public Image, Club Administration, and Membership Growth and Development. 


The club's communication and outreach efforts were also recognized with the Outstanding Club Bulletin award, while the highest honor, the Club Excellence Award, underscored its overall impact.


Individual leadership was highlighted as well, with President Eric Bernardez and the club secretary Onah Agayo both receiving the Most Outstanding President and Most Outstanding Secretary distinctions, respectively.


The club also ranked among the top two in Overall Most Outstanding Club, Polio Plus Contribution, TRF Contribution, and Annual Fund Contribution, cementing its status as a model of service above self. 


Continuing its legacy of "Service Above Self," the Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands remains committed to uplifting communities and making a lasting impact. The club's unwavering dedication to humanitarian work and sustainable development projects reflects the true spirit of Rotary.

Ganun ang pagtulong—taos-puso, tuloy-tuloy, at walang hinihintay na kapalit—serving as a powerful inspiration for Rotarians and the public alike to continue creating positive change in society.
