RC Aseana Manila Features in Manila Times

Rotary Club of Aseana Manila proudly shares the feature of the ASEAN Carbon Market Sustainability Council in The Manila Times.

The oath-taking was led by Chairman Former Agriculture Secretary William Dar, who was also featured in the published photos alongside the newly inducted council officers.

The council is mandated to strengthen ASEAN cooperation on climate action, promote transparent and sustainable carbon market systems, and support programs that advance mitigation, adaptation, and environmental stewardship across the region.

Representing our club and serving as part of the council leadership are:

  • UCP Sheryll Ann Mesina – Council President

  • PE Allyson Santos – Council Secretary

  • Rotarian Angelo Vargas – Council PRO

  • Atty. Rogel Nuñez, President/CEO of ALCHOM – Council Vice President

  • Butch Madarang, Executive Director of Bamboohay PBDIC – Council Officer

The ceremony was held last October 23, 2025 at the University of Makati (UMAK), marking another proud moment for Rotary and our ongoing commitment to impactful and meaningful climate action in the ASEAN region.
