No child should ever suffer because adults failed to protect them. Yet today, communities are confronted with the painful reminder that HIV continues to affect even the youngest and most vulnerable. A recent case involving a 7-year-old child underscores the urgent need for sustained education, awareness, and access to support services.

This reality reinforces the commitment of the Rotary Club of Aseana Manila through Project SAM (Save A Million), led by UCP Sheryll Ann Mesina. The initiative remains steadfast in its mission to empower families and communities with the knowledge and tools needed to prevent the spread of HIV.
Behind every statistic is a life.
Behind every case is a family.
Behind every child is a future that must be protected.
Project SAM continues to raise awareness, promote education, and guide families to appropriate health resources. Through consistent community engagement, the project helps equip individuals with accurate information, reduce stigma, and strengthen the community’s capacity to protect children and families from HIV.
The Rotary Club of Aseana Manila affirms its commitment to this advocacy. The club will continue teaching, reaching out, and supporting communities—upholding the core Rotary belief that every life is worth fighting for.
