Project RELive: Rotary Empowering Lives at Malabon City Jail

The Rotary Club of Mandaluyong West, together with the Rotaract and Interact Clubs of Mandaluyong West, successfully conducted “Project RELive” on March 20, 2026 by providing essential health, spiritual, and livelihood support to our brothers at the Malabon City Jail Male Dormitory.



The following are the highlights of the project:

Medical Wellness - Hepatitis B, C, and HIV screenings for fifty (50) persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), in partnership with Viral Free Hepatitis Philippines assisted by Rotaract President Tara Michelle Ramos, Rtn. Tess Blanco, and student volunteers;


Health Booster - Donation of fifty (50) bottles of Cnergee multivitamins courtesy of the Interact Club of Mandaluyong West and Rtn. Patrick Saburit of Kylledmed Philippines;


Water, Sanitation and Hygiene - Turnover of a water dispenser donated by PN Jay Lomongo and a television set for the E-Dalaw area donated by Good pRESIDENT (gp) Angeli Ancheta;.


Livelihood Materials - Delivery of 20 boxes of recycled paper from Canadian Manufacturing, textiles courtesy of PP Patrick Tanco & FLS Group, and threads from Manila Bay Thread Corporation for the PDLs' craft programs;


Nutrition and Spiritual Formation - Donation of a sack of rice from corporate partner Prestige Alliance MPC, and one hundred (100) Bibles courtesy of the Philippine Bible Society; and


Medical Upgrade - Donation of a hospital bed by GP Angeli Ancheta.


Our utmost gratitude to JSUPT LUCKY O DIONISIO, City Jail Warden, BJMP Malabon for their professional assistance and to our Partners for their unwavering generosity. Project RELive, the second similar initiative spearheaded by Jail Officer / PN Jay Lomongo after “Project Kaysaya” in Mandaluyong City.
