Project G.I.R.L.: Cultivating Resilience and Sisterhood in District 3800

In a powerful celebration of Women’s Month, the Rotaract Club of Mandaluyong West, alongside the host club RAC Marikina East and eight other partner clubs, organized Project G.I.R.L. (Growing & Inspiring Resilient Leaders) at the Manila Girls Home. This initiative served as a profound reminder that our impact is multiplied when we work together, transforming a vision of empowerment into tangible community action.

The collaboration was a direct result of the synergy built during RYLA 2026. What began as a leadership training ground evolved into a mission to uplift orphaned young women through lectures on Knowing Your Worth and Building Self-Confidence. Beyond mentorship, the project integrated holistic care by distributing hygiene kits and conducting health teachings on hand hygiene and dental care—reinforcing the vital link between self-care and self-empowerment.

The day concluded with a touching musical exchange, bridging the gap between volunteers and beneficiaries through song. By aligning our efforts across ten different Rotary and Rotaract clubs, Project G.I.R.L. demonstrated the true essence of being "Stronger Together", proving that our brand is defined not just by what we give, but by the resilient leaders we help nurture.

The following were the participating Rotaract Clubs:

Host: RAC Marikina East

Co-Hosts: RAC Mandaluyong West, RAC Pasig Sunrise, RC San Juan West, RAC Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig, RAC Rodriguez, RAC San Mateo Highlands, RAC Mandaluyong North, and RAC San Mateo.
