The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) gathered for their 33rd Regular Meeting on May 26, 2026, at the Clubhouse, Thunderbird Resort, for a luncheon of learning, fellowship, and inspiration. The meeting featured PBGEN Jovencio S. Badua Jr., Acting Regional Director of Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1), as guest speaker.
PBGEN Badua shared valuable lessons on leadership, discipline, accountability, and public service, drawing from his extensive experience in law enforcement. His message emphasized that effective leadership is built on integrity and a genuine commitment to serving others—principles that strongly resonate with Rotary's core values.
Club members actively participated in the discussion, engaging in meaningful conversations about community partnerships, public safety, and the role of civic organizations in nation-building. The exchange of ideas reinforced the importance of collaboration between public institutions and community-based organizations such as Rotary.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for members to strengthen fellowship while reflecting on the club's ongoing service initiatives. As RCSFLU prepares for a new Rotary year, the insights gained from the session will help guide members in leading impactful projects and fostering stronger community relationships.
