In the heart of San Fernando City, where service meets safety, a new symbol of partnership now shines bright. On October 24, 2025, the Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union (RCSFLU) officially turned over and lit the first of nine “Pulis Signages” at the City Plaza Police Outpost, marking another meaningful step toward community safety and unity.
This initiative, undertaken in partnership with the San Fernando City Police Station led by Chief of Police PLtCol. Tristan Nara, reflects Rotary’s Areas of Focus on Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention and Community Economic Development. By improving police visibility and accessibility, the project strengthens public trust and promotes a safer environment where communities can thrive.

The bright blue and white signage is more than a marker—it is a beacon of security and cooperation, guiding citizens toward assistance and symbolizing the shared responsibility between the PNP and civic organizations. Under the leadership of President Alvin Ray Mari Dumuk, RCSFLU continues to “Unite for Good” through initiatives that foster peace, order, and community development.
The ceremonial lighting was both symbolic and heartfelt. As the signage illuminated the night, Rotarians and police officers stood side by side—a reminder that peace is best achieved through partnership and presence.
With nine signages planned citywide, this project reflects Rotary’s belief that safe communities are the foundation of sustainable growth and collective progress.
