Leading with Purpose: Launching a Transformative Partnership with Tuloy sa Don Bosco

As the Magical Irresistible President of the Rotary Club of Jose Abad Santos Manila, I had the honor of leading our club on a truly impactful visit to Tuloy sa Don Bosco on March 6, 2025. This visit marked the launch of a promising new project aimed at bringing hope and opportunities to the children at this remarkable foundation. Accompanied by our dedicated Past President Johnson Tan, we demonstrated our club’s unwavering commitment to making a meaningful difference in the community.

Our visit coincided with a significant celebration—the birthday of Father Marciano “Rocky” G. Evangelista, the visionary founder of the Tuloy Foundation. Father Rocky has devoted his life to transforming the lives of disadvantaged youth in the Philippines. His tireless efforts have opened doors for countless young people, providing them with the chance to dream big and achieve their potential. Celebrating his birthday was a tribute to his extraordinary work and a powerful reminder of the impact one person’s dedication and compassion can have on society.

The atmosphere during our visit was filled with gratitude and admiration. PP Johnson Tan and I had the opportunity to engage deeply with the foundation, discussing ways to further our shared mission of empowering and uplifting young people. Our partnership with Tuloy sa Don Bosco promises to be a journey of positive change, emphasizing our commitment to creating a brighter, more inclusive future for every child.

The Tuloy sa Don Bosco Foundation holds a special place as a cornerstone for Rotary Clubs across the Philippines, symbolizing the shared values and dedication to service that define the Rotary spirit.
