What an inspiring way to open the Rotary year! Rotary District 3810, under the passionate leadership of our District Governor Mary Mae Rodrigo, gathered at Cuneta Astrodome for a project that truly embodied the heart of Rotary and its 7 Areas of Focus.

From oral health awareness and toothbrushing drills, promoting Disease Prevention and Treatment and Maternal and Child Health, to hygiene kit distribution, advancing Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene. We nurtured young lives with kids’ multivitamins, cultivated nature through seedling distribution for the Environment, and restored mobility and dignity with wheelchair donations. Legal counseling sessions empowered communities, reinforcing Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention.
None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support and commitment of servant leaders who live by the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self.” My deepest gratitude to PDG Ernesto Yuyek, PDG Joyce Ambray, DGS Herminio Hermie Esguerra, COS George Ng, DES Eric Candidato, DGN Francis “Jun” Pasion, and SDG Gelay Cruz Tiu. Your presence, effort, and dedication shaped the success of this project.

As Rotarians, we measure our actions by The Four-Way Test:
• Is it the TRUTH?
Yes - the truth is that the world needs our compassion and action more than ever.
• Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Yes - we served without distinction, reaching those most in need, and giving hope where it was missing.
• Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Absolutely - each life we touched today strengthens our bonds as a Rotary family and with the communities we serve.
• Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Undeniably - the seeds we planted today, whether in health, environment, or human dignity, will bear fruit for years to come.
This is only the beginning. Here’s to many more projects that create lasting impact, meaningful change, and a brighter world for all. I am proud and blessed to be part of this Rotary family.
Together, let’s continue to Unite for Good.
