In celebration of National Women’s Month, the Rotary Club of Rizal Centro successfully organized the “Lead Like the Babaylans” Medical Mission and Community Meal Drive, providing vital healthcare services and nourishment to 300 beneficiaries at the Rizal Police Provincial Office in Taytay, Rizal.
This impactful initiative was made possible through the strong collaboration of valued partners, including Maezelle Psycho Metier and Diagnostic Center, Grand Monaco Foundation, Tact Home Philippines, and Dynalab Corporation. Their generous support helped bring health, wellness, and community aid to those in need.
Leading the effort from the Rotary Club of Rizal Centro was President Jerome Carpio, joined by Rotaract Club President Marj Rivadenera. Together, they underscored the spirit of empowerment and service embodied by the Babaylans—historic female leaders known for their strength, wisdom, and compassion.
“Lead Like the Babaylans” not only offered free medical consultations and treatments but also fostered a sense of unity and hope within the community, celebrating the vital role of women in leadership and society. The event stands as a testament to the power of collaboration in uplifting communities and honoring heritage.
