The Rotary Club of San Fernando, La Union (RCSFLU), in partnership with the Inner Wheel Club of San Fernando, La Union (IWCLU) and its sister club, the Rotary Club of Mariveles, carried out a meaningful outreach activity through its Monasteries Visit, a tradition that blends spiritual reflection with purposeful service. The visit offered members a chance to pause, reconnect, and renew their sense of mission while extending support to monastic communities in the province on December 8, 2025.
During the activity, RCSFLU distributed sacks of rice, groceries, and hygiene kits to the monasteries, providing essential supplies to support the daily needs of the religious community.
The gesture reflects the club’s enduring commitment to compassion-driven service and its dedication to supporting institutions that contribute to peace, prayer, and social harmony.
Members also shared moments of fellowship and quiet reflection throughout the visit, deepening their camaraderie while embracing the spiritual significance of the day. The activity served as both an act of gratitude and a reaffirmation of Rotary’s mission to uplift communities in diverse and meaningful ways.
The Monasteries Visit remains an important part of RCSFLU’s annual tradition, reminding members that service extends beyond programs and projects—it also includes nurturing relationships, honoring spiritual spaces, and fostering a spirit of humility and generosity.
