Disaster Preparedness in Focus: RC Baguio Highlands 2nd GMM with RD Albert Mogol and Frankie Cortez

The Rotary Club of Baguio Highlands held its 2nd General Membership Meeting with members gathering for an evening of learning and fellowship. A major highlight of the event was the thought-provoking presentation on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) delivered by RD Albert A. Mogol, Regional Director of the Office of Civil Defense–Cordillera and Chairman of the Regional Disaster and Risk Management Committee, together with Frankie Cortez.

Their talk provided members with a deeper understanding of the importance of disaster preparedness, inter-agency collaboration, and community resilience during emergencies. Both speakers emphasized that proactive planning and strong partnerships are vital in reducing risks and ensuring safety during calamities.
