Boosting Children's Learning Skills

In a powerful collaboration aimed at transforming rural education, local Rotary clubs recently met with the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) to brainstorm on innovative strategies for making learning more engaging and accessible for underserved children.

The strategic meeting was led by KCFI Vice President Edric Calma, alongside Liberty Reyes, of the KCFI resource mobilization team.

Working with them are leaders of the Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (District 3850), represented by Immediate Past President Nora Helber, Club Mentor/ Trainor Megs Lunn, Director Public Image Ricky Molo; and of the Rotary Club of Pasay Southeast (District 3810), represented by Past Presidents Ellen B. Landicho and Pamela Nadura.

The brainstorming session centered on a proposed Global Grant designed to bring sustainable educational solutions to learners in remote, underserved public schools in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas of the country.

By combining KCFI’s proven educational media with Rotary’s robust community network, the partnership aims to bridge the learning gap for children who lack access to traditional educational resources.
