Rooted In Legacy, Building Our Future

We open this new Rotary year standing on firm ground, inheriting a healthy and vibrant organization shaped by the remarkable achievements of our esteemed predecessors.  Every successful year lays the foundation for the next, and we are called upon to take our Philippine Rotary Magazine to higher ground. 

We are determined to build upon the legacy we have been entrusted to propagate.  Along with nurturing our magazine’s cherished reputation and creditable track record, our new Board is committed to achieving the lofty goals we have set during our watch. 

With the full support of both the immediate past and incumbent Boards of Trustees, we are formally launching a campaign to raise funds to acquire and establish our permanent PRMFI office.  This involves far more than putting up a building. It is laying a lasting foundation.  It is ensuring that our voice remains clear and our archives are preserved, such that the story of nearly 30,000 Philippine Rotarians and their clubs is effectively disseminated in real time, and that this is preserved for posterity. 

We are calling on our present and past district leaders to partner with us in ensuring that the good news of Rotary service is made known far and wide --- and that the nobility of our club’s endeavors may be preserved for posterity.  Let us avail ourselves of digital resources to facilitate a vibrant flow of communication that fosters broad-based consciousness about Rotary at the grassroots of our communities. 

To all our subscribers, partners, and sponsors: we thank you in advance for your continued trust, generosity, and support.  An old proverb speaks directly to who we are:

“When you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence.” 

We are blessed to belong to a community that chooses to build longer tables, sharing what we have, standing together in service.
