A Celebration of Unity, Perseverance, and Purpose — The Magic of Rotary

We, at the Rotary Club of Metro San Fernando La Union, are honored and overjoyed to share the recognition we received during the Year-End Review held last June 14, 2025.

This Rotary year has been nothing short of magical. It began with an unexpected challenge, one that could have shaken us, but instead brought us closer together. Our Past Presidents, members, and leaders leaned on each other, transforming trials into triumphs, and uncertainty into strength. What once felt heavy turned into the very reason we grew stronger as one club, one family.

Along the way, there were moments of misunderstanding, times of “tampuhan” but these were never hindrances. Instead, they became opportunities to know and understand each other on a deeper level. We didn’t just overcome challenges; we grew because of them. And in that growth, we found genuine connection, respect, and unity.

This year also marked a historic milestone for our club:

• We received a record-breaking total of 51 plaques of recognition — a first in our club’s

history.

• We were awarded TOP 1 Most Outstanding Rotary Club in District 3790 – Medium Club

Category.

• Our very own leaders were recognized as Most Outstanding President and Secretary.

We ranked Top 1 in Public Image — a testament to our consistent efforts in amplifying the heart and service of Rotary to the world.

• We placed Top 2 in Annual Fund Per Capita, showing the generosity and commitment of each member.

• And with pride and purpose, we secured a place in the Top 3 Overall in the entire district for TRF (The Rotary Foundation) Contribution — a true reflection of our enduring commitment to Rotary’s global mission.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our ever-supportive Assistant Governor Don Ting for constantly guiding us and for always pushing us forward, especially during moments when we felt like giving up. Your presence reminded us of our purpose.

To our Suave Governor, Ariel Jersey, and his gracious spouse, Lady Edghee, thank you for believing in us, for empowering us, and for your unwavering trust. Your faith in our club lifted our spirits and inspired us to keep striving and serving with heart.

This recognition is more than just a plaque or a title it is the embodiment of every sleepless night, every effort made in silence, every tear, every laugh, and every moment shared with one goal in mind: to serve above self.

To our fellow Rotarians and to the entire District 3790, this is for all of us. This is for the magic that happens when service meets sincerity, when fellowship meets purpose, and when hearts beat as one.

Here’s to a year that proved: when hearts are aligned, and hands work together, even the most ordinary moments can become truly extraordinary.
