A Bridge of Service Across Borders: 3rd Regular Meeting Welcomes a Voice of Humanitarian Action

The Rotary Club of San Fernando La Union held its 3rd Regular Meeting on July 28, 2026, marked by an inspiring fellowship and learning session that highlighted the universal language of service. Members gathered not only to discuss club matters but also to hear stories of volunteerism that transcended borders and cultures.

The meeting featured Ms. Yuki Tsukada, a JICA Volunteer and Philippine Red Cross Volunteer, as guest speaker. She shared her experiences working with communities in the Philippines and reflected on how compassion, preparedness, and volunteer engagement can create meaningful impact during times of need. Her presentation resonated deeply with Rotarians, especially in light of the recent weather disturbances affecting many communities.
