The Rotary Club of Eisenhower, guided by President-Nominee Eric Lumibao, a dedicated advocate of organic farming, led an environmental learning activity for students of Pagsawitan Elementary School in Sta. Cruz, Laguna on October 9, 2025. The initiative was carried out in partnership with the Rotary Club of Greenhills and with the support of the school’s faculty and staff.
The program introduced young learners to practical and sustainable ways of caring for the environment by teaching age-appropriate lessons on organic practices, responsible waste reduction, and the importance of building clean and green communities for future generations.
To reinforce the day’s message, Rotarians and educators joined students in planting fruit-bearing trees within the school grounds. The activity served as a reminder that even the smallest seed of concern can grow into nourishment for both people and the planet.
The effort supports Rotary’s focus on Protecting the Environment and highlights the importance of early education in shaping responsible and environmentally aware citizens.
Through collaborative initiatives like this, Rotarians continue to inspire the youth to take part in building a greener and more sustainable future.
