RC Mariveles Leads First-Ever “Unite for Good” Mass Church Wedding Blessing 59 Couples at Sto. Niño de Alas-asin Parish

The spirit of unity and love filled the community of Alas-asin, Mariveles, Bataan as the first-ever Kasalang Parokya was held at the Parish of Santo Niño de Alas-asin. This meaningful event brought together 59 couples who solemnly exchanged their vows in a collective celebration of faith, commitment, and renewed beginnings.

Organized by the dedicated members of the Couples for Christ Sto. Niño de Alas-asin Chapter, the event was made possible through strong collaboration with the Parish of Sto. Niño de Alas-asin, the Rotary Club of Mariveles, the Local Government Unit of Mariveles, and Barangay Alas-asin. Their shared vision of strengthening families and uplifting the community through the sacrament of marriage was evident in every detail of the occasion.

For many of the participating couples, this was more than just a ceremony—it was the fulfillment of a long-awaited dream to have their union blessed before God. Some had been together for years, raising families, yet had not previously had the opportunity for a church wedding. Through this initiative, they were given not only a wedding, but a deeper sense of dignity, faith, and belonging.

The ceremony itself was both solemn and joyful, with the parish filled with love, hope, and gratitude. Family members, sponsors, and community supporters witnessed the couples’ promises, creating an atmosphere of shared celebration and inspiration.

After the church wedding ceremony, all the newlyweds were honored with a festive reception at Romalaine Seafood Restaurant. With laughter, music, and heartfelt moments continued as couples and guests celebrated this once-in-a-lifetime experience together.

UNITE FOR GOOD stands as a testament to what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared purpose. Beyond the beauty of the event, it leaves a lasting impact—strengthening marriages, nurturing faith, and reminding us that love, when supported by community and guided by faith, becomes even more powerful.

This first Kasalang Parokya is not just a milestone—it is the beginning of a continuing mission to build stronger families and a more united community in Mariveles.
